About Us

Seeds were sewn for a local crop circle group within the Medway area during the summer of '98. Five enthusiastic "Croppies" who'd  been meeting up as friends for quite a while, thought that Medway should have its own group as it became increasingly apparent that there was quite a lot of interest locally regarding the phenomenon...something that "The Circlemakers" had also acknowledged by placing so many beautiful designs along the Medway Valley!

Since the Medway Crop Circle (MCC) was formed in '99, quite a number of distinguished researchers have given presentations to its members. This well supported group meets approx. eight times a year and is 100% crop circle proof!

Increasingly gaining momentum, the MCC also publishes a quarterly bumper newsletter known as the MCCircular, which reaches many far & wide.

The Medway Crop Circle is run by Graham and Janet Tucker. The Medway Crop Circle Group meet usually once a month during the Spring/Summertime.

WHAT'S IN A LOGO?...

Well within our group's crop circle logo - quite a bit!  As you can see the Medway crop circle logo is based upon three circles.  The top circle features a heart-shape that allows us to register the letter " M ", whilst the lower half-circles (with one being held obviously in reverse) suggest the two " C's " in " MCC ".

But there's more to it than that for encoded within the design is the number 22, which may be interpreted as 11-11. Eleven is known as the number of enlightenment and double 11, 11-11 or 22, are often looked upon as interlinking numbers for use in contact with higher realms. Figure 2 illustrates how a pair of " 2's " even though they're reversed, symbolically form a heart shape within the design.

Reversing " 2's " and " C's " commonly reflects duality, and having the two bottom circles remaining open, indicates that it was our intention to approach and pursue all crop circle studies with an open mind.

It was this logo, along with all that's encoded within it, which became frequently employed by founder MCC members during their "meditations for crop circles" throughout the '99 & 2000 seasons.  Acting as some sort of mandala, and with such meditational energy being focused upon it, it's no wonder some really positive and amazing results were later encountered!

If you take another look at our logo though, you could be forgiven for thinking it looks a bit like a shamrock, but that's because our tri-circular logo is definitely based upon one!  When I first had it in mind to design the MCC logo I felt it had to be tri-circular for I had long recognised the relationship between Kent crop circles and Celtic art traditions. Interestingly, many of the Kent circles of late have reflected this basic trefoil shape.

Celtic spirituality is strongly Trinitarian with the triad or trinity (such as that featured within the shamrock emblem) being recurrent symbols expressing unity.  You'll find no separation in religion from life in Celtic spirituality, for they believed “God is in all things and all things are in God ". Within the Celtic vision is a deep realisation that the Earth is a living organism, with heaven permeating Earth and earthly life.  Acknowledging the cyclic nature of existence, it's soon realised that the Celtic approach to life was quite obviously a holistic one.
